Estrogen Filled Week - Part 2

Last night I had the pleasure of dining out and partaking in a vintage crawl with two of my favourite ladies!
I've known both Ada and Eszter since first year university. From back in the day if you will.

Our night started at BQM Burger Shoppe on Ossington near Dundas. Seriously the best burger I've ever had.

I had the Shoppe burger (bottom left photo) and Eszter had the Riverside burger (top right photo). And Ada obviously enjoyed her B&B burger. (Please forgive the iPhone photos...)
We were all having a lovely time when Ada decided to make it more dramatic and memorable by spilling water all over my legs...
...All because she thought her hair was "disheveled" and was turning around to check herself out in the mirror...lol! Best part?! Look at how perfect her hair looks...
Oh well...wasn't that uncomfortable, and the "accident" allowed us to check out the waiter...I mean the tattoo on his arm...yes.
After our yummy dinner, our night continued with a Vintage Crawl hosted by Plaid Magazine.

We stopped at a variety of vintage shoppes and bookstores (clockwise from top):
Penny Arcade, The Monkey's Paw's brand new book vending machine, The Monkey's Paw old timey music thingy, Magwood...and many more!

Here's where I got the boots from my previous post: Bridge + Bardot. I seriously loved the look and feel of this shop. So cute!
It was seriously an amazing night and I'm so glad Eszter found it, and was kind enough to invite Ada and I along.
I almost forgot...we almost got our palms read...
...but to Eszter's relief we did not have enough cash (that's her shaking her finger at us saying "no ladies, we will not give in to the occult")!

p.s. the psychic lady totally lived up to every psychic stereotype: neon lighting, smell of smoke so thick you can feel it, annnnnd when we first entered, she was behind a sheer curtain, lying on her couch, under a crochet blanket, watching television. I also think she had glasses. Epic. Seriously epic night!

  1. Let me just point out that it had been spitting/raining out and I have bangs...bangs are awful. With bangs, you can go from "fab" to "drowned rat" in no time flat (they literally go flat, it's gross - I'm a self-hating bang-wearer). Also, let's not forget that the waiter offered me a straw with my water when he refilled. If only there had been a sippy cup.

Such a fun night and well done on the photos, Ms. P...I mean, Mrs. Cameron. :)

    1. LOL! Well you'll just have to take my word for it when I say that I've never seen you look like a "drowned rat"...ever! Hahaha!

  2. You should try Holy Chuck's near Yonge and St. Clair. Seriously, really good burgers! But expensive and you have to pay extra for fries... Worth it though!
