So it’s been a while…yeah…I know…already?!
I could make excuses, but really, Friday was “real work” busy and then I got super lazy over the weekend. Lame. Super lame.
So back in time to Thursday shall we?
Met up with some former/current work ladies. Made me realize how much I miss them.
We went to Bar Volo at Yonge and Dundonald St.
We shared some charcuterie over pints of various types of beer. I had a really smooth Pumpkin Ale, and Kaili had this amazing spiced beer that tasted like a mocha latte, only beer-y. So good!
The service was a little off that night, but only because they had a special event going on. So you had to go up to the bar, wait in line, and order food and drinks at the bar.
Half their menu wasn’t available, but I still loved the pulled pork sandwich (no picture…I was so hungry I didn’t even think about it).
If you want a full dinner that isn’t comprised of hearty beers and cured meats, then you probably shouldn’t come here. If you are looking for a cool vibe, rotating beer selection and yummy charcuterie, then Bar Volo is place to be.
p.s. And to top off the night…I got home to the best greeting from my little love…
